Tulpa is an Adelaide-based magazine focusing on the Arts Community in South Australia. Our aim is to give emerging and marginalised writers a safe space to publish their work. We accept work from writers of any age and experience level and love stories that think outside the box and challenge convention.
Tulpa is run by editors Liam McNally, Lisandra Linde, and Kayla Gaskell, all of whom share a background in student media, as well as a team of dedicated volunteers.
Tulpa prioritises submissions from writers living in South Australia but also accept work from anywhere in Australia. We publish online and are working towards producing a quarterly print magazine. We are always open to submissions of all kinds from fiction to journalism, poetry and essays and everything in-between.
